So the site that I've been digging has a foundation of what I thought could have been an old cabin. I got curious and started digging out a corner. After I got in so far, I hit what appeared to be a large stone on the interior. It turns out that it is a semi-circular or circular and it is inside the stone foundation. Construction is brick with a thick coating of cement. Digging was very easy.... Although I did hit many bricks, and brick pieces.i even found a huge clump of brick parts all fused together.

I'm wondering if it was not some kind of kiln for firing bricks. It also appears to have had a dome shape, and was several bricks thick from back to front. The corner that I dug, was dead space and it was very easy to dig, almost like ash.
