struck gold...2 rings and a sacagawea dollar

old pops and I headed out for a short afternoon hunt since it was in the sixties today here in nc. below is the pics of todays finds. one 10K ring (anybody know what the FG stands for?), an little girl's flower ring, my sacagawea dollar (my first ever) a couple of little trinkets, and some change. Total dollar amount was $3.14 in clad. not too bad for about 2&1/2 hours.

Nice find!
FG is a makers mark. It stands for Fred Goldstein or something similar - large NY jewelry mass producer - been around since the 30's or older.
I found an FG 14 k white gold band a couple years ago.

here is another with that Hallmark.....

there seems to be a confusion about that mark.......I googled it....no definite idea what FG means....but some........the "G" has a little extra design on it.......

"GF" is gold filled............

"FG" probably is not gold filled
