✅ SOLVED strange tool found in creek

Found this in the creek bed. It has a wooden handle and the bottom feels like cement. This was an eye ball find didn't have the detector with me. It looks like a grout float. It also has grooves on the bottom

Grill Scrapper..i think

It is used to hand grind concrete smooth. Say after you pull a form off it knocks off the high places and makes it smooth. Add a little water and it smooths it out.

For flat top grills? I used to cook at Hooters many many moons ago, I think you are right

Come to think of it, the grill scrapers were pumice stone. TNMTNs says concrete tool, never seen one, but it does seem like it would smooth it out!

Guess i'm not the only one on TN who has done some concrete work before!!! When I built my pool, I used this tool to help me do the concrete coping.. Just for giggles here is a coping I did for one of my friends. The tool you have is for work like this after you strip the forms like TNMountains said..
