? ? ?Hunting construction sites no matter what the job is well worth investigating... These four tokens or what ever they are were found next door to where I live...Some contractors were there? removing the old Drive way to put in a new one and in doing so they dug down at least 12 inches or more... So Going over there and asking to detect was not a problem since it was my neighbor...The house was built in 1901 and as i started digging i found an indian head pennie 1907 and some wheats, and then the 4 tokes in an area of about 15 feet scattered.? The large one is the size of a half Dollar the other 3 are a little larger than a US Quarter.. I have no idea what they are the material seems to be a white metal or lead material and the reverse is the same design.. And the words " MYSTO"? have know idea!!!!? ?So if anyone can help with this that would be great......Thanks? ?Seeker

Mysto Magic Company..A. C. Gilbert (1884-1962) was one of the most multi-talented inventors of all time. With many fields open to his ingenuity, he chose to educate and entertain children through toys.
Alfred Carlton Gilbert was born in Salem, Oregon in 1884. His boyhood love was magic tricks: he became so proficient that he once matched a traveling professional magician trick for trick, and earned the prescient praise, "My boy, you will be a great success."

It is difficult for anyone under the age of 35 today to appreciate just how popular the Erector set was for over half a century. But that was not all A. C. Gilbert produced: he manufactured some of the finest model trains ever made (1946-66), a glass blowing kit (1920s), various chemistry sets (including one specifically for girls, in 1958), an "Atomic Energy Lab" complete with real radioactive particles and a working Geiger counter (1950-52), and of course his old standby, the Mysto Magic Exhibition Set.

Mysto Magic coins are now highly collectible

Very nice, very nice indeed.I love finding tokens of a bygone era.Especially the ones that are worth a buck or two!The underside of parking lots, roads, driveways and building foundations are prime targets for detecting.Around here that's about the only virgin ground(so to speak) left. :) H.H.-diggummup
