okay I Found this at an old Park area. It weighs 4.3 g which is heavier than a penny, at first I thought it was a penny that was squished in one of those machines you see at museums and parks where it will imprint a design on a penny. But as I said it weighs more than a penny. I haven't checked the weight of an Indian head cent to see if it's was possibly Made from that. Anyway I believe it's copper and it is the thickness of a penny. It has a peacock that his been etched on one side and a sparrow on the other, I did find a few different stories about the peacock and sparrow online, there are three different versions of the story,

I believe this was personally etched and not something that was stamped so it could be just a trinket someone made up. I will post some more things I found at this park later today. I just wanted to see if anyone else has found something like this.

It looks like a coin. A few weeks ago I found a squashed wheat that looked like it was placed on some railroad tracks. I was only able to tell because I saw the tip of a wheat stalk on the back. Took me forever to make it out.

Interesting find, from my experience with tokens and reading up on them I know that early in the 1800's many coins were privately minted.. (see my old post about my Andrew Jackson hard times token) its really cool stuff..

Looks like a fat indian someone turned into art

that's pretty cool! I wonder if it is hobo art?

No clue what it is, but I really like it for what that's worth....LOL
