strange to find this in the uk

didn't know what it was until i saw this thread.

mine is well worn but you can still make out what it is.
i found it on a farmers field about a year ago and i've been stumped since as to what coin it is.
now i know and i'm happy.
if it's a hard coin to find in the US then what are the odds of finding it in the middle of a farmers field in the UK .

very odd -- I haven't even found one and I am here in the states. The soil seems to have taken its toll on the coin -- almost looks like it could be a few hundred years old.
 

yes we're hinding old US. coins there for you, too find, please hide some 1600's coins here for us to find,.. yes thats a great find there for u, i found about 6 in the last 25 years, great job there,
