The weather Channel used to have a weekly Show on Gem Miners.

Unfortunately it was Preempted more then Not,
Because it always seemed to Air in hurricane or Tornado season :(

But the Article has me wondering IF they were in that Area Mentioned.

I don't remember if any were Finding Lapis Luzuli, But I think someone was.

they were mining mountain tops.

Though I was set up to record it, It was rare
it actually Recorded :(
if the show was Canceled due to Lack of Interest.
it was the Weather Channels fault, For Preempting it so Much,
it couldn't get a following.

and of course the Producers Fault for Selling it to The Weather Channel, since Gems Aren't weather

Lapis Lazuli is mined at a location near Wrightwood, California. At least it was 25 years ago.

Time for more coffee.
