Strange rock with symbols

Hi friends,
I found this strange rock in a ranch nears to Laredo, TX. I hope you have the time to look at these pictures and help me to solve the meaning or origin of this rock. Your help would be appreciated.

Same rock using a mirror effect. Amazing!

That's pretty cool! Try using it as a stamp. Coat it with wax, or something like latex paint that will wash off, and stamp it onto paper.

Fossilised tooth was my first impression too but the fading of the pattern baffled me.

Sure doesn't look like the normal sedimentary matrix you'd find most fossil in. I can't think of what that is other then the tooth suggestion seems like a good one.

The inside of the marks look vitrified or like fused rock. Please check the picture carefully and you will notice the same.
