Are those marbles at the ends??
Some old furniture use marbles ends of the feet so it could be easily moved.
Nevermind, way to small. I think the cribbage pegs got it.

Your definitely on the right trail. They are tigers eye.. but why only two? They were in a small thumbnail size pouch... or what appeared to be anyway?
