✅ SOLVED Strange Pin

Hello All. Found this at a home site of unknown vintage but I am guessing it was active in the 1930's or so.

The item is about 2-1/4-IN long, the ball end is brass, and the the skinny long part is stainless steel.

It looks familiar but I cannot put a good guess on it...LMK what you think and and Good Luck out there. C9

Hello villagenut. Wow you are correct!! They are called "Cannon Ball" hinge pins :

Looks like they are common but I have never seen a hinge pin like that.
