Pretty sure it's lead, heavy for its size...
It looks like it had some sort of a label on the other side that peeled off.
I found it in front of a house that was built in 1870, about 6" down.
Its got that depressed part on both sides, i'm almost thinking it was a counterweight for an old scale.
Any ideas?
