Once again I found really weird objects on my farm. The first is the circle piece, I was thinking part of a wood stove but doesn't really look like it, on the back is a clip? I don't think its a handle because you couldn't get a finger behind it.

The second piece I am pretty sure is a file. Like a nail file but bigger for something large. But I don't know if I am right or not, what do you all think?

And last is my cat jumper, he was sitting in a weird position on the bed and I just had to take a picture for you guys.

Found, black cat

Hi, I found a cat today in the Mount Clemens area. She's black with white stripes down her back. She seems a little standoffish. Does not get along well with children.

She doesn't have a collar, but seems to be an indoor cat and went without hesitation for a can of cat food I opened for her.

I think she's been away from home a while. She's quite smelly. May need a bath.

Please e-mail me to claim. (Small fee to cover the cost of the litter box and cat food).

I can't remember what they call them but the first one looks like a plate for a ceiling light. the hole in the center is where the wire came through

Yep it sure is, makes sense since we pulled out like 3 horseshoes.

I LOVE that "cat found" poster. Is that for real????? Too cute! Must be a city person who thought they found a really ugly cat.

I used to have a pet possum named Ethel. She was a great pet, very smart, AND potty trained. Possums are cool animals.

Thanks Trikikiwi for translating the morality spelling of that Flat Bastard File I.D. I offerd. Honestly, it really is called that. Type in for a search. here's a picture of one, only the small thing on the end is broken off. It's called the "tang". Oh Oh.

Not exactly. The flat blankety-blank file is more for sharpening of removing metal from something hence the diagonal grooves. Hoof "files" or Hoof rasps are usually bigger and made for removing the relatively softer boney areas of a hoof when fitting shoes. (according to my neighbor who does it for a living). Your file in the rusted condition it's in could be either but the size of about 9 inches long probably make it a metal file.
