I found this little guy at a turf scrape in Inglewood. The Cross and mercury dime came from the same area. He looks like he was hit by a lawmower. The way he look in the pictures is how he came out of he ground. Only that I ran a little water over him, the Cross has been tumbled cleaned and the dime is like it is.

And does anybody have anything on the Cross.

Looks like a garden gnome that had a bad hair day.

Catholic cross medallion,I must have seen a thousand varieties since i've been on this forum. That little guy looks like one of those yard gnomes without his hat.Though I have to admit,i've never saw one that was made out of metal with a hinged head! ??? :-\ ;D Fugly looking thing to say the least! Still a pretty cool find.

Very nice. I love that little guy. Looks like a p-ssed off elf with a piece of a cigar in his mouth?
That is an interesting find for sure. Could he have been watching over a pot of gold? Just a thought.
Great finds Ant.
