I got this coin in a lot of world coins. It has a monkey on one side and a pig on the other. It looks like it is made of brass. Do any of you know what it is?

maybe it buys peanuts at a food vending machine to feed animals at the zoo.. I think that Chinese zodiac --has a monkey and a pig in it ..as well the pig is "good times" ..I think the monkey means "lean times" ...sort of a yes / no token

That's a German gaming token - Spiel Marke. There are lots of varieties with animals, people, images etc.
