✅ SOLVED Strange clamp found in my dads scrap pile

Have no idea what this is and neither does my father. It's looks somewhat fancy in places. Looks like a clamp of some sort. Help would be very much appreciated! Thanks again! Oh and sorry in advance for not adding a tape measure or anything for scale. I wasn't near my house at the time.

I have never seen one before either...Always good to learn something new! I would clean that up and paint it nice. It's just cool!

I have seen those in Cobbler shops as well as saddle shops.To hold leather together to stich

Thanks! I thought so too! I'm trying to find one exactly like this one but there were so many made from different companies that its hard to find the exact model. I'm going to clean it up and the Makers mark should be on there.

This would be good to put through electroysis to ease the cleaning...

great id secretcanyon...I still use one of those.was here when I got my place...built in 1929...still works great.
