Definitely need help on these 2 lead pieces - 1st one has a mushroom shaped head - overall length is 1-7/8" - round area just below the mushroom head is 9/16" dia and slightly bent when I found it (hit it with my shovel and cut it but it was already bent) - It has 5 distinct holes equally spaced just below the mushroom head as though may have had spokes of some kind - one of the holes still has a piece of metal slightly protruding from it. It is also hollow inside all the way up to the mushroom head. Found right in with some C/W bullets and other C/W relics.

2nd piece has a round head that was hand whittled then is square or retangular shaped for rest of length - overall length is 5" - the round head is 1/2" long and 9/16" dia and has an indention in end much like the bottom of a bullet - the shaft area starts out at 1/2" x 1/2" and gradually tapers to 3/8" x 5/32 - the arc or curved shape appears to be made that way - I have a metal detecting friend who found one in same area just like mine except his does not have the rounded area on the end - his is square for entire length - as with the item above this also was found right in with C/W bullets and C/W relics in an area where we have found a good concentration of C/W stuff

Any help from my fellow treasure netters is greatly appreciated - Thanks

Do the little round holes on the first item go all the way through?

Hey cdsieg - the holes are actually just below the head where I think it is solid so they don't go all the way through - they appear to be aprox 1/8" deep - Thanks

First one may be a carved bullet. Second one is camp/scrap lead.

Hey Kiros - the first one is 1-7/8" length - it seems way too long for a bullet and I thought about the 2nd being just camp lead but my buddy found one just like it with the arc shape and all - was thinking maybe something to do with a cannon - thanks so much for your input

True, I should have read the details on the size.
