Date script shown on the right in the picture, which is the bottom position actually, translates to 1325 or 1907 (1325 x .97 + 622 = 1907.25 or 1907), it is a Turkish shell for sure and is most likely for a 7.65x53 Mauser. Star and Crescent is the Ottoman Empire property mark, the Arabic script on the left of the picture, which is the top position actually, translates to rzwam but is read right to left as mawzr or Mauser.

thanks very much for your help it was found on a WW1/WW2 army base which i found normally 303s rounds

Thank you for the kind words yaxthri. I collect Military Surplus weapons, so in doing so one gets an education, which helps when you are looking at weapons and ammunition.
