Strange buckle???

I dug this along side CW bullets. Appears to be a type of buckle of sort. A lace type pattern and oddly, Egyptian figures on the sides. One looks like a Pharo and the other has a sword on his side. Any info would be great. If it is a buckle? and trying to date it?

I have found several Egyptian theam pieces, turns out that was a popular fad theam back during the Victorian Period. Yes it is a belt buckle.
