Possibly vintage topper weathervane piece. The muliple holes of the piece and the top could make sense.

is it possible the hole on end had the same thing as the other end. then possible turn buckle of sorts....

the solid pointy thing could have been inserted into something enabling object to turn from both ends. the hole, near the pointy thingy could have held something that need twisting with the center hole turnbuckle thingy.

interesting and unique piece.

Will the ring end insert adjust/turn? Some sort of stem valve.

This piece just has the "look" of something nautical. It seems to have some salt water corrosion. I have been looking in that direction, but nothing yet. Once again Mojjax gives us another doozy what's it from the barn. ;D
