3) 15oz can Van Camps Pork 'N' Beans
1 tablespoon Worsteshire
1 tablespoon black pepper
garlic powder to taste
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons honey (will help thicken)
1/2 large onion, chopped preferabley red
1/3 green pepper, chopped(*)
1/2 cup "Hickory Smoke" Bar-B-Q Sauce (I use Head Country-a local favorite)
1/2 lb bacon, fried, drained and crumbled or small chunks of about (3) cooked ribs
1 jalapeno, inside membrane scraped, seeded and chopped(*) or you can use a dash of chili powder

(*) optional

Steps:
Combine all ingredients in large saucepan. Cook, covered, bring to a boil for 5-6inutes. Stir frequently. Uncover and cook another 15 - 30 minutes until sauce is reduced and thickened.

You know it's thick enough when it sticks to an upside down spoon

That sure sounds and smells delicious Stoney,

I am coming over for supper !! LOL
I am bringing the venison stew and rice !!

Happy Eating !!

Years ago I bought an antique brown-glazed bean pot about yea-big (I'm holding my hands aboujt 12 inches of so apart) and have a similar recipe with horseradish instead of the chili.

We bake four hours or so...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Gotta try yours tho.

Now add 4 chopped weiners, fix a plate and eat it out on the porch and you'll think you went camping. ;D
Just kiddin. ;D
