Found on a Missouri farm with many, many older iron relics. Most stove pieces are probably thicker than this, but it resembles something from a stove. The bottom is flat and nothing to see. Any help? Thanks!

Those old wood stove lids were as thick as the entire stove surface but tapered inward along the edges and had a notch in them you lifted w/ handle shaped kind of like a shoe spoon. I never saw one with a handle like that. My Grandfather never had any other kind of stove.
