I think stove lid is a good call :icon_thumright: (handle positioned at the edge) :icon_thumright:

My guess is off some kind of cooker if it's not at least 3/8". Those old wood stove lids were as thick as the entire stove surface but tapered inward along the edges and had a notch in them you lifted w/ handle shaped kind of like a shoe spoon. I never saw one with a handle like that. My Grandfather never had any other kind of stove.

Good point :icon_thumright: Maybe a child's stove set (only decorative) or maybe the lid had two handles.
