Stopper maybe ?

Recently placed this object within another section on the forum and was advised to maybe place it on here ? See if anyone has different opinions...
Anyway look forward to any opinion and info, my input although may be wrong was some sort of stopper ..

Could be a stopper with a spring loaded keeper.
