✅ SOLVED Stoneware jug hallmark

Found two stoneware jugs the one gallon has damage but the two gallon is in perfect condition.

The blue hallmark has a 2 in the center of a four leaf clover. Can anyone identify the hallmark? Where it was made, when, etc...

I believe 1800's. I understand that it is hard to identify hallmarks but what the hell I figure I would put this out there.

Actually, it's a blue clover, and your jug was made by the Miller Pottery in Alabama. The Millers are Alabama's oldest pottery family and still may be in business today. Their pottery has been shown at the Smithsonian Institute and numerous gallery exhibits. Miller pieces are famous for their cobalt blue decoration, and when asked why, fifth-generation potter Eric Miller was recently quoted as saying, “It’s a family tradition. My great-grandfather put a blue clover on the pottery as his mark.”

DIGGIN DUDE OLD WHISKEY JUGS THATS WHAT YOU HAVE , FOR MANY MEN PROBALLY DRANK FROM THEM AND THEN STAGGERED TO BED ,AND ONLY TO WAKE THE NEXT MORNING WITH A DAMNN SWOLLEN HEAD. THEY ARE NEAT FINDS NO MATTER THE SIZE.
