I found this stone today while I was searching a cornfield for native artifacts. The one surface is stained a reddish/brown ochre but there are some distinct dots on that surface (almost face-like, although I know that could just be the pareidolia effect). Has anyone ever seen anything like this before?

While I see the face, I'm thinking that might just be the brain's way of seeing faces in objects. What has me stumped, however, is that a) it was found in the middle of a cornfield in the middle of nowhere, and b) the one side is definitely stained a reddish-brown (ochre, I'm assuming) and there are at least two dark circles on that same face.
