Found this in my yard many years ago and always thought it resembled a cannonball. Is stone/rock and very heavy. I know stone cannonballs were used but do not know much beyond that. Stone or cannonball (or both)? Thanks! IMG_0032.jpg

OK then! Guess we are going with stone. Is nearly "perfectly" round though. lol Thanks for your knowledgeable replies and comments.

Moshers...
Before you get to "glum" it not being a cannon ball...
I would like to say now that no one else has chimed in...
This could be some sort of "pestle" ball...
Worth far more...
And far rarer...
Than any old common cannon ball.

Check into it. :)

OR... it could just be a "garden ball"... look into that as well.

Is the only one like this I have ever seen around here in this area maxpower. You could be right though as it had to get here some how?
