Hello,
I was told it was found in a river bed in the Yucatan or Cancun area. It measures about 13 inches long from end to end. It is about 6 inches wide with a 2 inch depth. I didn't have a way to weigh it. But it feels to be about 5 pounds. If you have any ideas of what it is or what I can do with it I would love to hear what you have to say.

The closest thing I could find while doing a search for ancient stone figure aztec or mayan was this...just because of the same "stand and hand placement" and the way the carving looks over all (the back)

But, I couldn't find it on their site. Try searching for "small ancient stone carved mayan or aztec figure (wearing head dress?).
Change the wording around a bit. Use "antique stone figure aztec or mayan". Or, pre-columbian stone figure, and Guerrero, etc, etc...
If authentic, you've got a nice piece there.

You can email dealers of ancient artifacts (such as the site above) and ask them if you can send them pictures of your figure, for info and or sale.
I have sold a couple oceanic pieces this way (one wood, the other stone) My wood carving was so old that it had begun to petrify.
You'll need some very clear, large images for them to inspect. If they're not interested in buying it, some may at least give you more detail information on it's history, whether authentic or more modern copy.

Best of luck to you for finding out. Let us know what you find out!

By the way, welcome to the forum!
