So I found this on the beach today while seeing how my new minelab performs in the sand. Saw this rock in the debris line that caught my attention. Sure it could just be a rock but

the edges have some characteristics of arrowheads I've found on this beach.
the back is different from the front
It looks like there may have been a shank attached to the back.

Are there such things as stone buttons from colonial or indian eras?

anyway take a look and see what you think.

Yeah probably a rock. I have found arrowheads on this beach and the pattern on the edges kind of looks the same but is probably worn as opposed to crafted.

The new detector is great. Can't believe the depth I've gotten on the beach with some clad I found. Still trying to learn how to pinpoint with this DD coil. Taking the day off tomorrow to get to some older sites and try some tweaks I've been reading about.
