We had our first nice rain in many months yesterday.
I had already taken the day off today due to the threat of rain but it turned out to be a nice day to go hunting. So I went to a park I've been to 100 times.
I only found about 1.00 in change but I hit on two rings.

I found my second tungsten carbide ring ever!

Also found a 1976 class ring. It says 10k and looks like white gold to me. It weighs 14.3 grams. By far the biggest class ring I ever found. 6 total now.

The reason I believe it might be stolen is the engraved name on the inside of the band is intentionally scratched out. I can see a d at the end. Possibly an ld.

Maybe the guy was hiding who he really is for some reason. No clue.

I haven't posted in a while so here's the other rings I've found this year.
I don't get out very much these days but I've been having success.
4 gold, 6 silver, 1 tungsten and 5 junk.
The third ring is a really pretty with white gold on top and yellow underneath. The picture doesn't do it justice.

nice finds ! a few reasons the name was scratched off other then it being stolen,
is if The original owner Pawned, sold, or gifted it & the person
who Bought or received it, may have removed them for personal reasons.

Unfortunately if you can't confirm the original owner, it's hard to say.

or it was given to a boys girlfriend who later on broke up with said boy and threw away his ring after marking out his name so it couldn't be returned if found * she could always claim she "lost it" to him.

Nice bunch of rings! Congrats!

Almost thought that may have been mine, but it's not. Had mine stolen years back. So if any one turns up a ring from a high school in S. Florida with a blue stone...

I agree with the gf/bf breaking up scenario. Almost happened to me many years ago with my ring.
