Sometimes the best thought spots just don't produce silver. :P
But thats not to say there wont be other good find of sorts there. Motor on!

Stick with it and you'll find some silver. There has to be some in your yard, somewhere...! I know it's discouraging but think about the cool things you have found, that should keep you going.
 

Keep on swinging! As a newbie, I go out in my yard when I want to MD after work, but only have 20 min of light left. Everytime I go out I find something - even if it is just a penny! Seems I just hit areas at different angles and get a tone.

Nice finds so far!
 

Good Luck! You'll not forget your very first piece of silver, or your first ring. Keep swinging and do some good research - you'll find it!
