Cute, old time buckle.

Strange looking, solid brass thingamajig. Was almost a foot deep! Has some heft too.

This thing was also pretty deep! It rang up like an easy quarter. But, somehow, it sounded like something heavier. When I called my shot I said it might be a couple quarters stuck together!

It's either brass/copper or bronze and weighs a ton for its size!

Like I said, interesting.

Congrats on the outing!

Lots of walk interruptions goin on...You appear to have handled it alright.

Someone may have missed that big brass when it hit the ground. Some things are hard to replace. Let alone promptly.
Sides facing viewer show small cuts on edges. Are they deliberate cuts or just damage?
Cuts on four sides can indicate left hand thread.
(I learned that the hard way.)
