last Saturday I was mowing down some vegetation on the property where I deer hunt. sunday I went back with my tractor and sprayer to spray some roundup on some of the nastier stuff. I was on a path that I had just mowed, and I stopped to spray some stuff and I looked down and happened to catch a glimps of something. It was the antler that is on the right in the picture. In april of 2014 I was shed hunting and found the antler on the right. I can't prove that they are a matching pair from the same deer, but if I were a gambling man, I would bet a lot of money that they are. They were found around 300 yards from each other. I knew that I should have bought a lottery ticket last sunday.

Just imagine what he looks like this year. Do you hunt, if not i do :laughing7: sure is a nice one running around there .

looks like a matching set to me. You got a Haus running around there. Good luck to you this season.

Million to one odds on that one! I love how the one you found before is clean and fresh, and the second one has some vegetation growing on it. Perhaps the one you found on Saturday was dropped during the same time as the first one you found. Good luck getting that buck! I don't hunt, but I do love finding sheds and deer skulls, and finding a matching pair would be great. Hopefully you will have that same luck while metal detecting .

I am in awe.

Nice sheds!

About 20 years ago I bought 8 acres in the country, my girlfriend and I were walking in what is now my front yard. We almost tripped over both halves of a 10-pointer's shed. The following year, I found another side with the same pattern.

My dogs or dog brought upon the deck a few years ago a right side shed of a nice 10 pointer.

But then again our than newly gotten Great Dane brought up a hind quarter of a deer and wanted in NOW!!!!!

Neither the shed or hind quarter made it past the slider door....!

Luckily the squirrels hadn't already ruined them.
Squirrels around here seem to think sheds are like candy bars.
Cool finds.
