Or that is my guess on this one. Found just below the grass at a local park near the swing set. Pentagram with scrolling, tree design, and goat's head in the middle. Marked Copyright/ 2002 P. Borda/ .925 inside. This ring and the sterling Christian Icthys ring are the only silver rings that I have found this month. I may have a spiritual war going on in my ring display, OH NO! Thanks for looking, Happy Hunting to all, Sub 8-)

We're going into the height of the Pagan Season. Halloween is rapidly approaching. I'm sure there is a witch that is sad over the loss of that ring.
Congrats on a nice find.

Still, silver, a particularly good candidate for "melt" value, IMHO. ;)

It brings to mind though, my question about why we don't find more really old, handcrafted silver.

Good job!

Very nice

You are correct, Whadi. A future melter and it actually has some weight to it. Every place around here has been detected for at least 50 years, so the old silver is gone, or very deep. Sub 8-)

yes with the tree design, and what appear to be butterflies on the sides,
seems more wiccan to me. Wiccans are childish and environmental.
kiss the trees, dance with the butterflies etc lol.

of course it's upside down in your hand .:laughing7:

cool find

Creepy but an AWESOME ring. I have a .925 "snake" ring that is really cool and was not claimed by my wife (lol) and I can't see me wearing it.

Nice Lance. I kinda like that ring.

Best of luck to you.

I little spooky, but nice find. I hope no curse is attached to it!

I mount anything religious on my metal detector for good luck. Catholic medallions, Wiccan rings, it doesn't matter. Sure, it makes your metal detector look like a bus in India, but that doesn't matter when you are raking in sweet finds.

That silver ring will probably bring you lots of gold.

P.S. don't cave in when the guys in the club try and ridicule your setup.

Yes it's Wiccan yes it's upside down and that is the Tree of Life. Also wiccans don't believe in Satan or hell. That is not a goat head in the middle it is just the trunk of the tree where it splits off . If the pentagram is upside down and there is a goat's head involved then you are talking about some Satan worshipper gibberish.

Great ID relic lover, thank you very much. So this ring could have been worn, and lost, by Stevie Nicks???? Sub 8-)
