Before the badge I found a penny I could not retrieve. How and why?

IT WAS STUCK IN CEMENT LMAO! turned out I wondered onto an old sidewalk in the woods. Must have been dropped in the cement mix or pushed into it.

Looks to be 1964
And a 1929 wheat was found just off the sidewalk, so that was the eureaka moment when I realised why trees were not growing in these straight lines. Will scope it out again.

I like that Army Drivers Badge. Thats what my Mother In Law did in the Army in WW11. She drove various high ranking officers around. They even painted a name on the side of her jeep for her. She was from the town of Joliet, so they painted "Joliet Julie" on it.
