Sterling Tie Clip(?) & Other Firsts

Hey all,

Got out for a couple hunts around the neighborhood this week.

Hit some sidewalk strips for 90 minutes on Tuesday night. Found my first steel wheat Cent (in the hole with another wheatie) and my first presidential Cracker Jack token, FDR. Cool!

Got out to a few different sidewalk strips today. First had nothing of interest. The next I nabbed most of my wheats for the day. In the last I made the find of the day. I texted it to my detecting friend and he said he thought it looked like a tie clip. I couldn't find any exact matches online. What do you all think?

Made some other neat finds like a G.S. pin (General Service?) and the end of a necklace with a photo in it.

Getting out with a friend to his in-laws' 1.5 acres from 1947 on Saturday. Hopefully more to report then.

Good luck all!

Well done sir.
