My guess it's maybe as old as the late 19th c.? The techniques of filigree jewelry goes back a few thousand years.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filigree The more modern pieces I believe are produced in Spain and Italy. This is a little silver filigree Spanish galleon I picked up someplace. I think many of the finer old pieces of silver filigree found in the US may have been sent or brought back by American GI's who served in Italy during WWII.?
