If i could get any and all information regarding this ring I've had for years I would greatly appreciate it. I'm new to the site and I believe I added the pictures correctly in the attachment section. The ring has a big "D" on the front of it surrounded by letters or symbols that's I can't really make out but from what I can see with a magnifying glass is that on the inside band it says "Sterling Weyhing Detroit" any Info about this would be greatly appreciated ty

class ring. I think the date is spread out either each side of the D, or top and bottom. Probably dates pre WW2, either 1920's or 30's

Thanks everyone very helpful

Yeah on the bottom under the D I'm sure it says 19 but on the top above the D it looks to say 10 but it might just be a 19 that looks like a 10 because the 9 is worn

Ok so I looked again and I'm sure it says 1919 and to the left of the D is a H and to the right is a S. So HDS/ 1919. If that helps someone to explain it anymore

obviously the HS would stand for high school, and the D would be the school name or town/name. If it's 1919 (and the style looks right for that time frame) then the owner would have to be about 117 years old now, and so would no doubt be deceased.
