I got some new permission today and had a pretty good hunt there. In about 2 hours, I found a 1900 V nickel, 8 wheats, an old hair clip, a dog tag (dated 1926), a 1951 National Bank medallion, a small brass buckle, a gold played button, and the best find - A sterling silver ring that the owner lost many years ago!!! I returned it to her, and she was really happy. She said she couldn't wait to get it cleaned up!

Good job by you! ...anything left to hunt there, or any neighbors?

Thanks! Still have to finish the yard. There are a few more houses to hunt too!

Very nice of you to return the ring. I'll just betcha if you asked the lady she would think long and hard if she knew of any other good places you could hunt.

All super finds! :headbang: Thrilling for the lady to see a ring she'd lost long ago, as often jewelry has sentimental meaning beyond any value. Have fun! :laughing7: :cat: Andi

Nice finds! And a job well done!

My first gold ring find with the M6 was my neighbors wedding band, she lost it while raking leafs.

Yep. That's great advertising, and a surefire way to get into more sites! Oh, and not to mention feeling good because you made someone happy lol!
