( "Sterling" Lock ) & a Merc...
Hello all,,,
The ol' Cz fired back up the day after it quit on me so, I took it back out today... I found the 1919 Merc at only 5" down, it must have been on edge because it was only hitting a high-tone in two directions... One of my other partners found a 1905s Barber Dime, but the coolest find for the day was this little lock that my cousin found by a tree... ( DaveDigs ), he doesn't post much,, but he's out there... It's marked on the back, on the loop at the top it reads, " Pat. App?? ". Looks like maybe " Pat. Appld For ", and on the bottom just above the rivet it's marked, " STERLING "... If anyone has any clues to the age, or any other info on it, it would be greatly appreciated...
Good luck & Happy hunting~
