Got them at the thrift store for $8. They weigh 16 grams total. Marked sterling on the back and posts. Let me know.

I agree. I was just curious if anyone saw resale possibility.Value of scrap at today's spot price is $10.45. $10.45-$8=$2.45 profit...

Don't forget to take off at least 20% if selling for scrap. Scrap value for low-end jewelry is not the same as scrap value on 999 bullion. Thus, about $8.
IMO, you learned a lesson on these. Not trying to be a downer, just trying to help you learn for the future.
If you were buying for yourself or a gift, then you got a decent deal, otherwise, you will not make any profit. Why buy just to break even?
IMO, only buy at scrap value or above if the eye appeal of the piece warrants selling significantly above melt.
There were but I couldn't make them out. I scraped them for $10 today, so 20% return is a line drive single. HH
