Woke up early this a.m. and headed down to the beach today. I was feeling good about todays hunt and the clads started to ring in my headset. The last coin reading surprised me when I was expecting a quarter and this beautiful weighty sterling bracelet revealed itself at the bottom of my sand scoop. Just seconds before that recovery, I murmured to myself, "This is my day". After I left the beach, I headed north on coastal Rte1 and found an unfamiliar gas station with a coin-op vac. With that, I scooped the half bucket of snipe-ing material and headed home to process it. I was able to boost my clad count for the day. All in all, I had a wonderful day. My wife was given the bracelet for allowing me to go to the beach today and put off the yard work until tomorrow...when I get home from the beach! nyone identify the stones? Can anyone identify the steel grey stones? Ends with "ite".

I'm guessing marcasite. Very pretty bracelet!

Oh so your the reason I only ended up with clad today. Just Kidding. I just spent about 3 hours this afternoon on Hampton Beach, only managed just under 2 dollars in clad. The rains finally drove me off. However my recent purchase of a new long handled scoop was a success....Great job on your bracelet find

I was in front of the second bath house. Will be on the beach again tomorrow a.m. as well.
