Sterling baby rattle found at GW

My wife has a good eye at goodwill, Paid $3.99 for this, quick search shows they go for about $40 on the bay. about 2 1/2 inches long and weighs 16 grams, marked KS sterling..

Nice find! I have a baby, she wouldn't play with that! It's not loud enough! A good silver find at goodwill is rare! Glad you got one!
 

Cool find. I have a couple of the sterling (bell) and mother of pearl teething rings. Never found a rattle though. And yes, a sterling find for less than scrap is a great score from any GW store.

Nice find, I found one a year ago and sold it for $25, I probably could have got more too. I think my GW is a gold mine, I find quite a bit of silver there. I think savers thrift store is where it's harder to find silver for less then scrap.

I have my first born son's sitting right here. It is a SS round Towle rattle. Got it as a newborn gift.
