Hit a few tot lots this am with the ole trusty coinmaster... all small ones like you would find in a subdivision. Man those kids can loos some change, 82 coins all told when done a lot of quarters, and 12 dimes in one hole. It is also the second time I found an old foreign coin too. A 1942 3 pence... and a 1953 2$50 angola coin a couple hunts ago... kinda strange for a kids park. I did stop at harbor freight and picked up a tumbler since they were on sale. Threw some clad in to see how it works. I have a lot of coins from the surf since that is where I mainly hunt, and they are crusty. I can't tell what the dates are and don't wanna throw silver in the coin jug. I guess Kelly co doesn't sell many detectors local since they were all found < 5 miles from their shop.
