Went out for 1.5 hrs today, but it was cold and rainy here in Phoenix(that's correct, cold and rainy in Phoenix). We haven't had rain in 140+days so the rain was the actual first find of the day.
Anyway found this metal button. I can make out a Statue of Liberty on it. The back is missing the shank. Any ideas?
Also found this 25th anniversary Peter Piper Pizza token. Apparently these came out in 1998.
Found $.76 in clad then had to call it quits as I was soaked anv very cold.

Glad you finally got some rain skane, and that you got out and made some finds!

Interesting looking "stuff" you found there.

Glad to hear you got rain. I heard the air quality was getting bad there.

What kind of areas do you search?

I hunt mainly parks. I've been working this particular park since December pretty hard. Unfortunately I only get there once a week. The site that this park sits on now was the first jail site in this p[articluar city apparently built in 1920s. I've found a couple of what I think are old buttons and some modern jewelery and about $17.00 in clad. Very little old coins as I'm sure it's been hunted. However, the hits are non-stop and so frequent that I'm just digging really solid signals which means I'm just getting surfce stuff. Once I cleant that alll up I'll go back and turn down disc and dig everything. I could be there for years there are so many hits. Granted a lot of it is junk, but I'm sure I'll find something if I try hard enough. (Was that too much information?)
