i see it perfectly well! i think that's a first class grab. When i first looked at it, i thought Native American, then Art Deco. Depending on where you found it, it's possible that it is indeed an art deco-influenced NW Native American carving.

I see an Art Deco interpretation of a pre-Colombian statuette. You know, “the eye of the beholder.”

Looks to me like a relatively modern African 'Shona' sculpture, partly abstract-styled as a bird. Small ones in various stones with abstract or stylised subjects are commonly sold at tourist markets in Zimbabwe and surrounding regions, and exported as 'African Art'. This kind of thing:

I expect that some really sharp pictures will probably show the signs of rotary tool marks in the areas that aren't polished out.
