State Quarters with Silver Rims?

I was looking for silver in some quarter rolls and saw a shiny silver rim thinking I found me a nice one...but it was a 1999 P state quarter...

I didnt know they made state quarters with silver rims...any value?

Im still new at this, so still learning.

Only the ones with a S mint mark might will be silver. It just probably has the light colored clad fooling you.

I've found a few like that. I agree with silver fox it is probably a coin with just no copper showing on the edges or possibly a coin that has been plated somehow (with chrome, spray paint, or something like that).

i've found a couple of these too, i threw them back.
