Have had my Nox 800 for about 2 weeks and had a warm enough day to take it for a spin. The ground was a little hard and only dug one item at a new permission at an 1887 school house site and got this beauty, a small child's Sterling Silver ring WOW!!!

Great find that's a good machine I love the tone it gives on silver. Keep the finds coming. Tommy

I also just got the 6" coil and of course now it's bone chilling to go out LOL

Yep Mi is cold too still fun to go out just gotta dress warm. HH. Tommy

That's what im talkin about. It's a beauty. Congratulations :icon_thumright:

And welcome to Tnet.

Nice start and welcome from Flawda!

Actually, I am sorry you found this the first time out. I found the ring in my image the first time I went out with my 800 last year.

The trouble is now every time I go out I have the expectations of finding something as good or better and I come home disappointed - at least until I do find something better.

Congratulations. Great find. It does make you feel good!!

AHA! So YOU are the one!..
New 800 here also and too cold to do much of anything here. Haven't even got to try it out yet.
BUT.. don't feel bad. When I got my first "good" telescope years ago, it was cloudy for two weeks after :)
Great find there!

Congrats on the nice looking ring. I'm still digging in the woods here in Illinois, and its been around 25 - 35 degrees.

Great first outing!! Hope you aren't spoiled :laughing7:

Don't let that ring discourage you, keep working at it and you will find a pull tab. :laughing7:
