Just dug this today. It has an applied top with the Star of David. Around the star are the capital letters of BBAGH. The base has embossing of F.S. Amber with an orange peel look I've never seen one so I'm asking for any help with it or even a value for something like this. Thanks. Jgas.

Yep just noticed that. Sorry. Hmmm. Still a mystery. Satanic star? Jgas

jewish star of david has 6 points -- devil star has a point facing downward at the center middle -- your has a basic 5 pointed star -- popular "American" type item

seems to read B B A G H ...

worth noting --often a star was used on deadly item bottles to let the blind and those unable to read know not to drink the contents of a bottle -- beaded outsides and skull and cross bones were also used as well and some colors as well -- might have had a chemical n it and was marked like that because it looks like a beer or soda bottle

F S is the bottle maker and AMBER the color type

So are we thinking it's a US manufactured bottle? I haven't seen the F.S. Makers mark here before. The bail system was secured in the applied top. Not like a usual blob beer system. Could this be a poison of some sort? Thanks. Jgas.

I've never seen one, nice find !!

Not a poison in any way shape or form, stars weren't used on poisons, hobnails, lattice, lines and skulls yes, stars no. Stars were very popular with German brewers....

Also comes in green with a mineral water style lip finish, 99% sure it's European or Australian/New Zealand...

Must have been a big time traveler to get to the Midwest privy! Lol. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1492689262.009225.jpg. I found this one on a website from Europe. Gotta be a beer or ale bottle I'd say. Still no clue as to the letter meaning. Jgas

That auction was actually in Australia I believe, but they were a large importer of European glass, a tough one to research for sure...
