Howdy folks. I am in need of help....again. :tongue3:

A friend of mine hunted an amazing location a few years ago in KY. He got a draped 1798 cent. Amazing coin. Anyway, he also got this seeming button. Im guessing it is such.

Can anyone give me more information on this b/se we are having trouble finding any.

Thanks in advance!

MM, I believe that's my g-granddaddy's uniform button; he was in the NC 7th Infantry. I'll send you a PM with my address so you can return it. :laughing7: :laughing7: Breezie

LOL . .Deal!

MM, I'm not sure if what you have is part of an NC Civil War Starburst button or not because it doesn't have a round center, and all of your 'rays' are basically the same length, but stranger things happened in the South during the War. Here's a site with several pics of the NC Starburst.
