Stanthony ??????

I was out few a little while tonight in my back yard. I found this emblem. It's made of pot metal and has two unthreaded posts on the back. It's 2 3/4 inches long and 9/16 inches high. It reminds me alot of the emblems on older cars, although I've never heard this name associate with any automobile. I googled stanthony and came up with nothing. Anyone recognize the name?

I agree, I was thinking a new/used car emblem... you know how dealerships attach there name to everything! It's just that kind of piece. I also do not recognize the name, it may be a small local thing, or a foreign model. It will be interesting to figure out... good luck!

Used or new car dealers tag out of the 1950's 60's before decals were used. Free adv. for the dealer. I always took them off within ten minutes of buying the car
