Personally and I know others will flame me for this- it is your Grandma, take her out to dinner and buy her flowers.

Otherwise for the weak junk one, I have seen them listed for $7.50 each in great condition at coin shows recently and sell. The lowest I have seen them (dateless non raised) is $5.

If the two are 1924-D's, they are worth $55 just in good condition. The pictures make them appear to be EF-AU. That would make them worth $185-$225 each. Any Standing Liberty minted before 1925 with a full date is rare. The date wore off. In 1925 the coin was changed and the date lasted longer.

I was guessing at least good or very good condition. The date on one 1924 is very clear. The other one is there but you have to look close.

I think I will stop by the coin shop just to see what they say. I trust them for I double checked what they offered a lady for her walking liberty half. It was dead on.

Thanks.

I agree. The pictures are tough to give a precise grade, but this isn't some sloppy standing liberty. Accept them as a gift and thank her. Take her out to dinner. Buy some flowers. Perhaps do some fixing of repairs for her.

A suggestion, you may want to get one of the nicer ones certified so you can have a nice coin to always let you think of your Grandma!

yea those are some really nice standing liberties, most of the ones I have look like the worn one on top

Yeah. They are really nice. She could really use the money. I'm going to give her money for the other coins.

I'm going to see how much the standings are worth. Maybe sell one for her and give her the money from that as well.

Not really sure yet. We will see.
